Prospect Patches is a design shop created for birds, birdwatchers, nature enthusiasts and habitat conservation. With our series of embroidered patches, birders can now collect and wear their life list. Each patch is a miniature portrait, capturing the field marks and character of the individual bird.
Prospect Patches is based in Brooklyn and was inspired by its local patch: Prospect Park. Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux and opened in 1868, the park is a migration hotspot, and offers a critical habitat for the few hundred different species that are observed there every year. To learn more about birds and Prospect Park, visit the Brooklyn Bird Club website.
A portion of all profits go toward avian non-profits.
Prospect Patches was founded in 2018 by Angie Co, a Brooklyn-based designer, architect, teacher, and birder. To see her other architecture and design work, visit Studio Co.
